EUDR proof from Peru, ready for TRACES.
Your coffee and cocoa from Peru now needs proof. Origen produces it at origin: plot-by-plot geolocation, checks against 4 satellite sources, and a dossier + GeoJSON ready for your due diligence statement in TRACES. Dozens of plots from many farmers and regions become one dossier per shipment — captured by your suppliers on their phones, in minutes.
No proof, no EU market.
From 30 December 2026, every operator placing coffee or cocoa on the EU market must show — plot by plot — that it was not grown on land deforested after 2020. Without that data you cannot file your due diligence statement, and it can only come from origin.
They are built for large importers. As Fairtrade has warned, the cost of compliance ends up with smallholder farmers who already live on the edge — and the plot data never arrives.
Mapping plots is becoming free. What you need is verified evidence you can actually file.
30 Dec 2026 for large and medium operators; 30 Jun 2027 for micro and small ones. Europe buys about half of Peru's cocoa and almost half of its coffee.
From plot to dossier in three steps.
No spreadsheets, no costly consultants. Your supplier's technician captures the plots in the field and Origen assembles the package your statement needs.
Field capture
The technician records each plot with the phone's GPS and a photo; on plots over 4 ha they walk the boundary to capture the polygon the EUDR requires. Works without signal.
Verification
Each plot is checked against four official sources — Hansen, recent alerts, protected areas (WDPA) and the EU's JRC 2020 reference map — and marked clean, review or deforestation.
Dossier ready
You receive the dossier and the TRACES-ready GeoJSON — per lot, or with dozens of plots consolidated into one dossier per shipment.
No forest loss after 31 Dec 2020. Ready for the dossier.
Doubtful signal near the boundary. Checked before the lot ships.
Forest loss detected. Flagged to exclude or substantiate.
One shipment, one dossier.
A container rarely comes from a single plot: it pools coffee from dozens of farmers and several regions. The EUDR requires the geolocation of every plot behind each shipment. What consultants charge thousands to assemble, Origen generates in one click.
Select the lots in a container — from many farmers and regions — and get a single dossier + TRACES-ready GeoJSON.
If a single plot is flagged, the whole shipment is flagged and you see exactly which plot to exclude or substantiate. The EUDR does not allow offsetting: Origen keeps it clean.
Declared kilos are checked against the realistic yield of the area. If they don't add up, we flag it before EU customs does.
Built for cooperatives, trusted by buyers.
Open-licence satellite data and a dossier with a digital fingerprint anyone can verify — no black boxes, no lock-in.
No spreadsheets or costly consultants: the technician captures and the dossier builds itself.
Captures without internet and syncs automatically when the signal returns.
You receive exactly what the law requires of you, on time.
Powerful inside, no black boxes.
Everything we claim can be checked: open data, Google AI and a digital fingerprint anyone can verify.
Hansen, GFW alerts, protected areas (WDPA) and the EU's JRC 2020 reference map. Open-licence, no lock-in.
Gemini, on Vertex AI, writes a readable report for you. The verdict comes from the satellites, not the model: explainable and defensible.
Every dossier carries a SHA-256 fingerprint and a QR code. Anyone can scan it, upload the PDF and confirm it is authentic and since when it exists — without the file leaving their device.
No closed-licence maps and no “trust me”. You can see and verify every source and every data point — the opposite of the big players' black boxes.
What importers ask us.
Do suppliers need internet at the plot?
No. The technician captures everything on the phone — GPS and photo — without signal, and the plots upload automatically when the connection returns.
What if a plot shows deforestation?
It is marked “review” or “deforestation” so it can be checked before the lot ships to you. Origen is the detection tool; the final decision rests with you as the operator and with your supplier.
Who files the statement in the EU?
The EU operator — usually you, the importer — files it in the EU information system. Origen delivers the data package ready for you to do so.
Does it work for coffee and cocoa?
Yes, and for any EUDR product whose origin is a plot. Today we focus on coffee and cocoa; for coffee, see the EUDR guide to Peruvian coffee, and for cocoa, the EUDR guide to Peruvian cocoa.
What about large plots (over 4 ha)?
The app lets the technician walk the boundary and record the polygon with GPS — the format the EU requires for plots over 4 hectares. Smaller plots are recorded with a single point.
Does Origen certify compliance?
No. Origen delivers verified evidence to support your due diligence statement; legal responsibility stays with the operator who files it, and certification schemes are complementary. Our job is to give you reliable data from origin, not a label.
How do I know a dossier is authentic?
Every dossier carries a QR code and a digital fingerprint (SHA-256). Anyone can open the verification page, upload the file and instantly confirm it is authentic and since when it exists — without the file leaving their device.
